Sweet Pea Dresser

At the swap meet we came upon a sweet little dresser. She was light weight, but still real wood with dovetail drawers and an orangey color.

(All the hardware was there, just taken off and in the drawers for some reason?)

I brought her home and after purchasing some new paint samples, I knew what she'd be perfect for- a nursery!

I spray painted the body and knobs with a metallic silvery grey, then white washed the drawers with a pinky coral paint sample.

She still seemed a bit boring, so I got out a little brush and hand painted some sweet arrows and dots down the sides.

I can just imagine her in some little princesses room filled with frilly dresses and ruffled socks!
